I feel incredibly fortunate that Julia came into my son's life. My son began working with her shortly after I learned he was dyslexic. Although he was highly articulate, he was reading well below grade level and had little interest in books. Through my research, I learned that working with an Orton-Gillingham trained tutor would be one of the most effective approaches, and finding Julia turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made for my son. Thanks to Julia, he has made progress I wasn't sure was possible when I first began this journey.

But beyond the academic gains, what truly makes Julia exceptional is the way she connects with her students. She is patient, encouraging, and genuinely engaging. My son meets with her remotely twice a week and actually looks forward to every session.

Julia has a remarkable ability to meet children where they are, helping them feel comfortable, capable, and confident. She strikes the perfect balance between challenging her students and supporting them, and she has a gift for making learning enjoyable. Her creative word games feel like fun, but they are thoughtfully designed and incredibly effective.

Most importantly, Julia has helped transform not only my son's reading skills but also his relationship with reading itself. He approaches reading with confidence and is beginning to enjoy it for the first time in his life. This breakthrough has been a complete game changer for him, and a joy for me to witness.

If you are considering Julia as a tutor for your child, I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has made a profound difference in my son's life, and I will always be grateful for her dedication, expertise, and unwavering support.

Prior to working with Julia my daughter was a non-reader entering middle school, needing explicit phonological awareness and phonics instruction. Julia is an incredible teacher.
